In private practice since 1985, Dr. Chen graduated from Univ. of Illinois Medical School and did his residency at USC and UC Loma Linda. He is a Fellow of American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and AAOHNS. He is doubly certified by both American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and American Board of Otolaryngology. Currently, Dr. Chen has a full cosmetic surgery practice ranging from blepharoplasty, facelifts, to body liposuction and breast surgeries. His interests have been use of fat grafting in breast augmentation by employing stem cells and PRP. In March 2010, Dr. Chen led an AACS delegation to Japan to enhance US progress in stem cell fat grafting. This subsequently led his co-Directorship to the Coronado Adipose Stem Cell Aesthetic Surgery Workshop in August, 2011. Current new development of deploying stem cells for numerous medical conditions brings Dr. Chen to the frontier of modern medicine. He is delighted to be in this new realm of research with CA Stem Cell Treatment Center doctors to move such exciting technology to medicine. In addition to member of CSFPS, CSCS, ASCBC, CMA, & AMA, he is on the Board of Solano County Medical Society and (SF)Bay Area Preferred Physicians, as well as Alternate Delegate of District X to CMA. He was the founder of Solano Independent Medical Association and past President to Northern CA Taiwan Medical Association. Dr. Chen believes in local community service and has built a new ice rink for local youth. He was an Assistant Boy Scout Master and is currently involved in creating a new local Regional Park District.
